Assoc. Prof. Şenol Tonyalı is a faculty member at the Department of Urology, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul University. With an understanding that feeds his clinical practice with scientific research, he contributes both to patient treatment and to the urology literature.
With a European Association of Urology (EAU) research scholarship, he carried out work on endourology and HoLEP surgery at Universitätsklinikum Freiburg in Germany. In particular, the surgical treatment of benign prostatic enlargement, laser applications and endourological techniques are among his main academic interests.
Through the research he conducts together with his students and residents, he continues to contribute to the training of young urologists and to the advancement of the field.
